Slot tournament prizes at Cursed Captain: what a prize pool pays

A real ladder: Cursed Gold Rush

The most recent race we checked, Cursed Gold Rush, had a $5,000 prize pool and has now finished. Ten places were paid:

• 1st: $2,000
• 2nd: $1,000
• 3rd: $600
• 4th to 10th: $200 each

The race card said the pool was paid as real cash. Another race may use a different pool, ladder or payment type.

How a prize ladder works

The ladder ranks the paid places. First place receives the top prize, second the next, and so on down to the last paid place. Where the ladder stops is the prize line.

Places below the prize line win nothing. A player in 11th place on the Gold Rush ladder played just as hard as 10th, but received no prize. That is how every ranked competition works, and it is worth keeping in mind when choosing how much to spend.

Your finishing place is decided by the leaderboard. See how the leaderboard ranks players and how spins score.

How prizes are paid

When the clock hits zero, the prize places are paid. Each race card states how: the Gold Rush card said its pool was paid as real cash.

The casino's general terms say tournament prizes can also come as bonus funds or free spins, with their own conditions, where the specific race terms do not say otherwise. If a race pays that way, read those conditions before you rely on the prize. If something looks wrong after a race, contact Cursed Captain support.

Fair play and keeping it sensible

One account per player. Extra accounts are not allowed and cannot be used to chase more places.

Treat a prize as a pleasant extra and not a return on spending. You must be 18 or over. Set a limit before you join a race and stop if it stops being fun. Our budget-first tips show how, and the main guide covers the whole path.
